Size is less important than shape. A small feed with unstable layouts can take more work than a large feed with a published contract. We size engagements after a source survey, so the first reply is a findings note rather than a fixed price.
Yes, and most of this work runs alongside a client team. We build the bench, document every decision and hand over the harness so the internal team can own the pipeline after signoff. A shipped feed does not depend on a standing retainer to keep working.
Three things help most: a sample payload with sensitive values removed, a description of the table or system the data must reach, and the date the result is needed. If the sample is confidential, say so and we will agree a secure transfer method before you send anything.
